The approx. 120 natural-colored pages (240 writable pages) are handmade. The book can be closed with a brass clasp.

The paper is handmade and a natural product. Today the papers mostly come from family businesses in the villages of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh in India. Working in the countryside is an important prerequisite for preventing rural exodus and giving the people there a future perspective. In today's increasingly industrialized India, the ecological aspect of traditional paper production also plays an important role. The production process manages without the natural resource and valuable raw material wood, and no health-relevant chemical substances have to be used (e.g. no chlorine bleaching).

The handmade paper is absorbent, so the use of ink / fountain pen is not optimal.
